1. Sole Creatorship


- Common Guidelines: You must be the sole creator of all elements in your upload. This applies to textures, images, footage, and any other media. The only exception is placeholder media and music for preview videos, which should not be included in the final upload.

2. Project Structure


- Adobe After Effects: Please adhere to the structure outlined in the After Effects template example package.
- Premiere Pro: Please adhere to the structure outlined in the Premiere Pro template example package.
- DaVinci Resolve: Please adhere to the structure outlined in the DaVinci Resolve template example package.
- Final Cut Pro: Please adhere to the structure outlined in the Final Cut Pro example package. Templates must work as generators, titles, transitions, or effects installed through the specified paths. FCP bundle files and XML projects are not accepted.

3. Thumbnail and Logos


- Common Guidelines: Thumbnails should be in JPG or PNG format with a resolution of 1920x1080 (HD). Try to keep the file size under 1MB. If your template uses logos, use only generic logos.

4. Footage and Music


- Common Guidelines: All footage must come exclusively from Artlist.io. Music should be sourced only from Artlist.io.

5. Placeholder Media


- Common Guidelines: Placeholder media used in the preview movie must be removed before the final upload.

6. Fonts


- Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro: Fonts should be free, and no paid fonts are allowed. Actual fonts should not be included in the final upload.
- DaVinci Resolve & Final Cut Pro: Fonts should be free, and no paid fonts are allowed. Actual fonts should not be included in the final upload. Do not use font from Adobe.com

7. Passthrough Audio


- Premiere Pro: Templates may include shot placeholders where audio does not pass through to the final timeline.
- Final Cut Pro: Templates must not contain any audio files.

8. Video Tutorial


- Common Guidelines: A specific video tutorial for your template must be included. It should cover importing images, editing text, and any other key features.

9. Package Structure


- Common Guidelines: Your download package structure should align with the structure in the example packages.

10. Naming Convention


- Common Guidelines: The template name should be up to 40 characters long and should only contain western characters. Filenames should not contain any special signs or symbols.

11. Zip Format


- Common Guidelines: The download package must be compressed in .zip format. Each component within the package (preview file, thumbnail, and zip) should be named according to the convention “template name-artistname-software (AE/PP/DR/FCP)”.
