Diversity and representation of all people are at the heart of our work. If you are planning to shoot portraits, always try to choose actors that represent different communities, ethnicities, genders, sexualities, backgrounds, and ages.
- Capture stories of diverse individuals doing everyday activities (i.e., lifestyle footage), for example, shopping, eating out, or enjoying other public activities. Try to make it look as authentic as possible
- Include visuals that illustrate the beauty in diversity, including people of different ethnicities, genders, ages, body types, and abilities.
- Capture portraits conveying positivity and confidence.
- Tutorials and social media can be a great way to show the diversity of the millennial generation.
