Submission Process Overview
After completing the onboarding process, you'll receive a unique link to submit both your information and your submissions.
Guidelines for Data Submission
To help ensure a smooth reviewing and uploading process, it's crucial to adhere to the following guidelines concerning each submission's data:
Naming Your Templates
Title Guidelines
Your submission title should be unique and descriptive, encapsulating what the package contains. Keep it short but informative. Here are some examples:
- Cinematic 3D Intro
- Kinetic Text Animations
- Noise And Grain Transitions
- Social Media Icons
- Minimalistic School Presentation
Important: The submission name should match the package zip, thumbnail image, and preview movie supplied.
Please do not include special characters in the name of your submission, for example, !"£$%^&*()-=_+
Presets and Macros should include Preset/s or Macro/s in the name of the submission, and the project file names should match. Here are some examples:
- Preset Film Damage And Burn Transitions
- Neon Bloom Preset Effects
- Kinetic Tex Animation Presets
- Flip Transitons Macros
- Surreal Mirror Macro Effects
- Macro Spray Distortion Typography
If you are submitting a preset or macro. Please also mark the category option as either Presets/Macros on the submission form, depending on the submission type.
File and Folder Naming Conventions
- Zip File: "Template Name-ArtistName-Software (AE/PP/DR/FCP).zip"
- Inside Folder: Project file named after the template
- Thumbnail: "Template Name-Artist Name.jpg/png"
- Preview: "Template Name-Artist Name.mp4"
Example:
- Zip File: 4K Business Logo-MegaArtist-AE.zip
- Thumbnail: 4K Business Logo-MegaArtist.jpg
- Preview: 4K Business Logo-MegaArtist.mp4
Preview/Thumbnail
We only accept one thumbnail/preview movie per submission. You can use any software version, but the thumbnail image and preview movie should match the overall design of all software versions. If you can't replicate the same style and design in other software versions, you should separate the submissions into two or three different "New Submissions" each with its own unique naming convention. If the template is 95% the same, you can use the same preview movie for all software. The naming would then look like the following:

Aspect Ratios
Please indicate only the aspect ratios that are explicitly included in the package. Select the applicable individual aspect ratio options, or use the multi-select option where multiple aspect ratios are included. Do not select aspect ratios that are not included in the package.
Resolutions
Please indicate only the resolution sizes that are explicitly included in the package. Select the applicable individual resolution options, or use the multi-select option where multiple resolution sizes are included. Do not select resolution sizes that are not included in the package.
Plugins
Please indicate only the relevant third-party plugins that are actually used within the template/preset/macro. If no additional third-party plugins are required, please mark it as ‘No plugins used"
Art Styles, Themes and Categories
Please only mark the relevant art styles, themes and categories. This helps to categorise our catalogue properly, which in turn helps users to find the templates they are looking for. Refrain from using unrelated art styles, themes and categories.
Media Links
Only add media links to the submission form when you have used media from Artlist.io library. You do not need to include media links to 3rd party sites. Please ensure the media used is free of trademarked assets/designs to avoid infringements on other people/company rights.
Music Link
Please include a link to the music used from Artlist.io library. Please ensure you use the unwatermarked version in your preview movies. You should have been given access to an account to download music without the watermark. You can use additional SFX to enhance your preview movie further. Add the SFX links to the relevant box on the submission form.
Descriptions
Please take your time and carefully fill in the description, focusing on the technical and visual aspects of your submission. The description should be short and to the point.
Here are some examples:
- A stylized presentation with minmlatic text animations.
- A pack of kinetic title animations with noise and grain effects,
- A set of 3D elements with a rubbery texture
- A collection of dynamic text animations with RGB splitting effects.
- A short sports-themed introduction with energetic text animations
Tagging
Use up to 20 relevant keyword tags directly related to your project. Refrain from using unrelated tags, as our reviewers will remove them.
Common Tags for Inspiration:
- clean, modern, bold, vibrant, simple, fast, smooth, extreme, epic, fantasy, cyberpunk, digital, glow, text, photo, video, display, bright, colorful, creative, etc.
Note: Do not include categories, art styles, and themes when tagging.
